‘Free! Eternal Summer’ Anime Will Restart Hulu Distribution

2 min read

Free HuluWhile we reported a few weeks ago that Free! Eternal Summer was streaming on Hulu a week after the main simulcast through FUNimation’s EVS program, it looks like things have changed since then. A reader tipped us off  today that the series has been removed completely from Hulu at this point and that none of the episodes are available from this new season. We reached out to FUNimation for information on it and were told that the series would start back up on the Hulu service this Friday with the first episode going live again.

For those with a Hulu Plus subscription, you’ll be able to watch this show on your TV and mobile devices. Free! Eternal Summer is directed by Hiroko Utsumi based on scripts by Masahiro Tokotani and character designs by Futoshi Nishiya. The series stars Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Mamoru Miyano, Tsubasa Yonaga, Daisuke Hirakawa and Yoshimasa Hosoya.

Plot concept: The pool boys are back for a second season in Free! Eternal Summer! Their friendships have only gotten stronger, and their skills in the pool are growing every day. New rivals and new challenges lie ahead, and the competition is about to get fierce!
