FUNimation gave us out first taste of the sixth season of One Piece recently with the trailer below and now they’ve given us some casting details for the set that’s going to land on September 30th, 2014. The show brings back voice actor Ian Sinclair as Brook, who took on the role in the Strong World movie that was released previously. It was essentially a given that he was taking on the role and keeping it, but it’s good to get confirmation that it wasn’t a one-off casting for just that feature. Check out the rest of the cast:

  • Ian Sincalair as Brook
  • Andrew T. Chandler as Absalom
  • Jamie Marchi as Cindry
  • Jerry Jewell as Hildon
  • Marcus D. Stimac as Hogback
  • Ray Hurd as Kumacy
  • Alex Moore as Lola
  • Chris Guerrero as Gecko Moria
  • Felecia Angelle as Perona

Plot concept: While drifting through haunted waters, the Straw Hats encounter a ghost ship inhabited by a walking, talking skeleton. Luffy quickly befriends the ghastly newcomer, but the rest of his mates want nothing to do with this panty-obsessed bag of bones. Before the mystery of the seagoing skeleton can be deciphered, the Straw Hats find themselves trapped within the terrifying walls of Thriller Bark! The situation gets even spookier as our heroes encounter invisible fiends, a graveyard of the undead, possessed paintings, and a zombie samurai! To make matters worse, Zoro and Sanji suddenly vanish – and Chopper, Usopp, and Nami get trapped inside a coffin. While his crew flounders in this floating house of horrors, Luffy sets his sights on a showdown with the man behind the madness: the shadow-stealing monster Gecko Moria!
