Fox Sets ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ DVD/BD/3D Release Plans

With a $200 million budget that earned a worldwide take of $736 million since its release in late May, 2014, 20th Century Fox has set the home video release plans for X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film will make its home video bow on October 14th, 2014 with an earlier digital release of September 23rd, 2014. The release will be coming in the usual couple of versions, with DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray in the works, which will have an array of special features to be had with it:

  • Deleted Scenes with Optional Audio Commentary by Bryan Singer
  • Gag Reel
  • Kitchen Sequence
  • Classification: M
  • X-Men: Reunited
  • Double Take: Xavier & Magneto
  • Sentinels: For A Secure Future

Directed by Bryan Singer, the film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Omar Sy, and Halle Berry.

Plot concept: The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.
