Viz Media Acquires ‘The Girl Who Leapt Through Time’ Manga

While the brief venture of Bandai Books brought out this title back in 2009, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time has no resurfaced via Viz Media and digital only for now. The adaptation of the story that was made into a feature anime film is done by Ranmaru Kotone who did his designs based on the originals by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The book is priced at $4.99 for its digital run. The book is available through the VizManga.com site as well as iBookstore, Nook, Kindle and Google Play.

Plot concept: Makoto Konno is in junior high school. She is good friends with her childhood friend Kousuke Tsuda and transfer student Chiaki Mamiya. They “pretend play” baseball after school every day, but their relationship starts to change drastically when Makoto acquires the ability to leap through time. Relive the beauty of a timeless story in the manga adaptation of the acclaimed anime feature film “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
