‘Persona 4: The Golden’ Anime Begins Hulu Distribution

Persona 4 The Golden Animation Hulu HeaderThe spread for Persona 4: The Golden anime continues to be good as it’s available on a number of platforms. The latest one to bring the Aniplex USA series to viewers is Hulu as the series has begin its streaming run there. This comes in addition to streaming on The Aniplex Channel, Crunchyroll and Daisuki, services that some casual anime fans or Persona 4 fans may not know about but will see via their Hulu subscription. Those with a Hulu Plus subscription can watch this show in HD on their TV, mobile and computer. Check out the first episode below!

The project is coming from A-1 Pictures where it will have Seiji Kishi as the chief director with Tomohisa Taguchi handling the ongoing direction. Character designs are set to be done by Yuu Shindou and the series is scripted by Jun Kumagai. The show is designed to tell the events of the first series but with the new character of Maria from the game. The cast returns from the previous incarnation with Daisuki Namikawa, Showtaro Morikubo, Yui Horie, Ami Koshimizu, Tomokazu Seki, Rie Kugimiya, Kappei Yamaguchi, Romi Park, Unshou Ishizuka, Akemi Kanda, Mitsuaki Madono, Sayaka Ohara and Kana Hanazawa.

Plot concept: 3 years have passed since the anime series, Persona 4 was aired… And now, they’re coming back! Based on a hugely popular RPG, Persona 4 became a sensation as soon as it started airing in 2011, drawing in not only gaming fans, but anime fans as well. Released after the broadcast, the PlayStation Vita title, Persona 4 Golden, was a massive hit, with 350,000 copies sold, as if to flaunt Persona 4’s seemingly unstoppable popularity. And this summer, they’re coming back with the usual gang, joined by a few new faces. July 2014…at last, the “Golden” days will begin! Don’t miss the start of this new story. Spring. Far from the city, time flows peacefully in this rural town. As the cherry blossoms scatter in the wind, a young man named Yu Narukami steps off the train at Yasoinaba Station. Yu has come to this town, where his uncle lives, for family reasons; he will be transferring into the local high school, Yasogami High. And so begins his school life… The shopping mall after school. A series of murders taking place in town. The Midnight Channel, airing late at night… What lies in store for Yu and his friends “this time around?”
