There’s certainly a lot of anticipation for the upcoming eighth season of Doctor Who that premieres in the UK on August 23rd, 2014 and now the first full length trailer for it has arrived. With some on the set photos out previously and a teaser trailer that didn’t show much, this one provides a good bit of insight into some of the potential avenues that the series will track when it comes to what kind of Doctor we’ll be getting. In particular, just the tone and approach that Capaldi uses in his few brief scenes here seems to paint it a bit darker, though we’re sure it’ll have its own sense of humor as well to keep things balanced and to touch upon the past as well.
