While Himegoto hasn’t been picked up for simulcast (yet?), Animate.TV has provided a look at ten images from the show ahead of its premiere today for fans to check out. The series is being produced at Asahi Production with Takeyuki Yanase directing based on the scripts by Kazuho Hyodo. Masaaki Sakura is handling the character designs for the series. The main cast has also been announced with the four of them doing double duty by performing the opening and closing songs as well.
The series stars Yūki Kuwahara as Hime Arikawa, Yuka Matenrō as 18-Kin-san, Saki Ono as President Unko, Hisako Tōjō as Beru-sempai, Ayane Sakura as Mitsunaga Oda, Chinatsu Akasaki as Kaguya Arikawa, Takuya Eguchi as Tadokoro, Minami Tsuda as Ichigou and Azusa Tadokoro as Hiro.
Plot concept: Himegoto follows Hime Arikawa, a second-year student at Shimoshina High School. Forced to assume a large amount of debt from by his now-absent parents, Hime is saved by the three girls of his school’s student council after he is chased down by debt collectors. In return for paying off his debt, Hime agrees to their conditions of becoming the student council’s “dog” and spending his high school life dressed as a girl.
