Dark Horse Comics has never been a huge manga publisher but they’ve always worked the field since way back in the day, long before the boom, and they continue to put out some fantastic works. They hit up Anime Expo on Thursday night for a late night panel that revealed a few new licenses and some news about an older title.
On the new front, they’ve picked up the single volume manga release of the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt run that was produced by TAGRO.
They’ve also acquired a new art book release that will definitely go over well with The Art of Satoshi Kon, which is the localized version of the 2013 art book that came out in Japan as Kon’s Work 1982 – 2010.
No dates are set for these titles yet.
In very welcome news, Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service is gaining a new life. The publisher will be releasing the first twelve volumes in omnibus form and they have plans to restart the series in single volume as well starting with volume fourteen (they released volume 13 back in November 2012 and will likely do an omnibus with 13-15 later on).
