Crunchyroll Adds ‘Free! Eternal Summer’ For Summer 2014 Anime Lineup

The swimming boys are back in town and Crunchyroll will be hosting them once again. The service has updated with the news that they’ll be streaming Free! Eternal Summer this season with it beginning on Wednesday, July 2nd at 11:30am ET for premium members and a week later for free members. Free! Eternal Summer is directed by Hiroko Utsumi based on scripts by Masahiro Tokotani and character designs by Futoshi Nishiya. The series stars Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Mamoru Miyano, Tsubasa Yonaga, Daisuke Hirakawa and Yoshimasa Hosoya.

Free! Eternal Summer will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience worldwide except for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, Palau and Papua New Guinea, South Korea and Japan.

Plot concept: After the last swimming competition, the bonds between Haru, Makoto, Nagisa and Rei have greatly deepened. With each passing day, each member continued to grow. Rin tries to overcome him past and, with the help of his new teammates, aims to create the strongest swim team yet. Holding on to their ambitions, they face themselves and welcome the new summer!
