With a planned 2015 debut on Netflix next year as one of their ten episode original series, a few more details have surfaced about Sense8. The project is one that’s coming from the Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski which will take a global approach to its interconnected storyline. To build on that with its various locales as they’re intending to shoot in the UK, Seoul, Mumbai, Nairobi, Berlin, Mexico City, San Francisco and Chicago, it has a pretty international cast we have actors from the UK, Germany, South Korean, Mexico and more.
The expansive cast includes:
Naveen Andrews, Daryl Hannah Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Aml Ameen, Freema Agyeman, Tena Desae, Doona Bae, Max Riemelt, Alfonso Herrera, Erendira Ibarra, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Silvestre and Terrence Mann.
Plot concept: The series follows eight characters around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally. They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must they figure out what happened and why and what it means for the future of humanity, they must do so while being hunted by an organization out to capture, kill or vivisect them.
