‘Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita’ Anime Gets Premiere Date, New Key Visual

Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita Image 4The summer anime adaptation of Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita by Kotaro Kosugi has now been firmed up as the series official site has revealed that it will premiere on July 3rd, 2014 on TBS in Japan which will then roll out over the next week through other regional broadcasters. has updated with some new information this week. In addition to the news, we’ve also got a cute new key visual for the series below.  The title translates as Normal High School Girls Tried Being Local Idols, which began back in 2011 as serialized in Manga 4-kom Palette. Studio feel will be animating the show with Munenori Nawa directing based on scripts by Yuniko Ayana and character designs by Yumi Shimizu. Miku Ito has signed on to play Nanako Usami while Sachika Misawa takes on the role of Yukari Kohinata.

Plot concept: The story is about the life of a high school girl, Nanako, and her senpai, Yukari, who end up becoming the town’s local idols (locodol) upon the request of her uncle.
