Set to debut on July 7th, 2014, Avex has let loose with the second promotional video for the anime adaptation of the boys-love game DRAMAtical Murder by Nitro+CHiRAL. The series has gotten its second promotional video and rather than tease us with a slew of 15 second spots, we get a gorgeous two minute trailer that really sells the series in a big way. The show adapts the story that comes from the boys-love adventure game of the same name. Kazuya Miura has taken on the role of director for this at Studio NAZ based on scripts by Kabura Fuchiii, who worked on the game, and Touko Machida. Character designs are being worked on by Yukiko Ban while Yuuki Hayashi is set to do music composition.
The series will star Atsushi Kisaichi as Aoba, Hiroki Takahashi as Kōjaku, Satoshi Hino as Noiz, Kenichirou Matsuda as Mink, Masatomo Nakazawa as Clear and Ryota Takeuchi as Ren.
Plot concept: The story takes place many years in the future where the game “Rhyme,” a virtual fighting game, is incredibly popular and people possess “AllMates,” convenient AI computers. Aoba leads an ordinary life, working at a junk shop and living with his grandmother on the island of Midorijima. Unlike his friends, he doesn’t participate in Rhyme, nor does he belong in a gang. However, when rumors of people disappearing spread, Aoba finds himself needing to unravel the mysteries behind the island in order to protect his everyday life.
