‘iZombie’ Gets New Poster, Raw Trailer

2 min read

iZombieWhile a number of the upcoming CW series from pilot season that got the go ahead to full series have seen their trailers coming out, one that hasn’t is iZombie. We’ve gotten a few images from it but actual footage? Not out there. While not officially added online, someone has grabbed a copy of it from a broadcast somewhere and posted it online, which you can see below. It’s in terrible quality and the audio definitely doesn’t come across the best, which can leave a bad impression.

The book ran for twenty-eight issues beginning in 2010 as written by Chris Roberson and initial artist Michael Allred. Four collections were released previously. The live action adaptation isn’t working directly off of the books and stories within but rather taking most of the elements and going forward in its own direction, notably in changing the lead character from a gravedigger to a med student working as a coroner.

The series stars Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Alexandra Krosney, David Anders, Robert Buckley, Nora Dunn and Ruhul Kohli.

Plot concept: A med student-turned-zombie takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head.
