Based on the events in the 2010 feature film Legion, a new minute long trailer for the Syfy TV series Dominion has debuted that plays up the war side of the series that’s going to dominate it. The show is set for a June 19th, 2014 broadcast as it takes us to events twenty-five years after the film itself. The series is part of the slate of new projects Syfy is pushing to get back to its science fiction and fantasy roots. The project has moved quickly as Syfy ordered a pilot back in December 2013 and moved it to series not long after that.

The series stars Christopher Egan (Resident Evil: Extinction), Tom Wisdom (300), Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones), Alan Dale (Lost), Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Luke Allen-Gale (The Borgias).

Plot concept: Dominion is an epic supernatural drama set in the near future. Specifically, 25 years after “The Extinction War,” when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, chose to side with humanity. Rising out of the ashes of this long battle are newly fortified cities which protect human survivors. At the center of the series is the city of Vega, a glistening empire that has formed from the ruins of what was once Las Vegas.
