‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Sets Reveal Grounded Production

Star Wars Episode VII HeaderWith so much of the prequel trilogy being filmed against green screens, and a lot of what Lucas talked about prior to it that they’d film the majority of it that way, it’s definitely good to see some full on real sets being made for Star Wars: Episode VII. The production has a few leaks hitting the internet now that shows off some ships being build that can be physically interacted with, including what looks to be a pretty sizable Millennium Falcon recreation that will delight many fans and help reinforce that the feature is likely on the right path.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie and Max von Sydow. It’s set to debut on December 18th, 2015.
