BBC One provided the slightest of teases for fans today as they put up a 15 second teaser spot for the upcoming eighth series of Doctor Who. The teaser provides the planned August premiere for it in the UK, though we suspect that after the way the 50th anniversary special went, they’ll be looking to get it into a lot of territories quicker than usual. The teaser doesn’t provide much in the way of material, not even a clean shot of the new Doctor played by Peter Capaldi, but the shadow of him and an exploding TARDIS definitely puts some expectations about the new season.
