2 min read

Big Hero 6 HeaderBig Hero 6, a Disney/Marvel CG feature that’s due out on November 7th, 2014, has been a pretty under the radar production for awhile now and even with the couple of minor images that we’ve gotten, it hasn’t really revealed much. Now we’ve got the first official teaser trailer for the film that clocks in at 90 seconds that shows off a bit of the character designs and humor to the film, though it doesn’t exactly tell you what the film is about. For its target younger audience though, it’s sure to delight and that’s what’s really being aimed at here rather than the older fans. In addition to that, we’ve also got a new story synopsis for it which you can see below that expands on what the film will be about.

Directed by Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh) with co-director Chris Williams (Bolt), the film stars T.J. Miller as Fredzilla, Jamie Chung as Go Go Tomago and Maya Rudolph, who has not been tied to any particular character yet.

Plot concept: “Big Hero 6″ is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
