Lucky Penny Entertainment has had another of their series added to Hulu with Sweet Blue Flowers having now appeared there. The eleven episode series has gotten there through Manga Entertainment as part of a partnership and they’ve got the entire eleven episode run on there. It’s strictly for computer based viewing though as no TV app or digital device rights are included as part of it. Based on the manga series by Takako Shimura, which began back in 2004 and has seven volumes to date, Sweet Blue Flowers is an eleven episode series that definitely plays the interesting field of high school romance between several girls in two different schools. Shimura’s worked on some interesting titles over the years with the Wandering Son anime adaptation really making an impression.
