While it doesn’t surface too often in the world of manga, especially since the crossover of manga and anime fans with US comic books and Hollywood tends to be a bit limited, there are some really fun pieces that come out of Japan. Manga creator Shirow Miwa, who has been working on the manga Dogs, is one that does some fun sketches that get posted online for various US properties that come out. This past week he tackled a more recent arrival to Japan with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which gives us a look at the Winter Soldier, Captain America and Black Widow in great form. One that leaves us wanting to see some new manga interpretations in a serious way of our favorite Marvel characters.
