Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san Episode 6
Suzu’s love of the pooch is reinforced.

What They Say:
The series follows two high school girls; Yachiyo Inugami, a dog-like girl who loves cats, and Suzu Nekoyama, a cat-like girl who loves dogs, and the strange relationship their respective habits form.

With Suzu’s sister having arrived home with quite the hangover, it’s amusing to see how Suzu deals with her, and how the dogs deal with her as well. Amusingly, we get a look at just how Suzu views her sister as someone who gets out and about a lot and basically plays around while having a good time. That shows off that side of her family well and in its own way explains a bit more about how Suzu is. With that in mind, we also get some time with Yachiyo and Aki as they go off shopping and while buying some treats, they end up coming across Suzu who is kind of unhappy that they aren’t all spending time together since Yachiyo is out with her dog. The two have a really awkward relationship when you get down to it and seeing how Suzu is with Yachiyo’s dog definitely makes for some cute moments, albeit moments that aren’t as amusing as previous episodes.

In Summary:
Not surprisingly with a series of this nature, some episodes work better than others. This one is one of the weaker ones as it has some cute moments but it doesn’t provide much in the way of laugh out loud moments. The characters are definitely cute and fun to watch, especially when it comes to their dealing with animals, but this one just has a kind of off feeling where it’s not quite as gag focused as some previous episodes were.
