While we got word a couple of days ago that Kill la Kill would be getting an English language dub, we figured it would be a long wait until Anime Expo when they’re going to premiere the series in that form alongside much of the original staff and cast that would be at the convention. But now it looks like we’re going to get things a bit earlier than that as Aniplex USA has put up the countdown video until the May Edition of their Aniplex Live show. Within that show, they’re promising that they’ll reveal the cast for Kill la Kill and premiere the trailer among other things.

Plus, for one night only, all of the guests will be part of a special Kill la Kill event on Friday, July 4th. This star-studded event will feature a variety of programming including a special talk session with all the Kill la Kill guests, an exclusive screening of the English Dub Premiere of Kill la Kill, and a special concert featuring Eir Aoi, singer of the opening theme song. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of one of the biggest Kill la Kill events in history!
