‘Nobunaga Concerto’ Anime Adaptation Announced

If there’s a well that manga and anime creators tend to go back to fairly regularly, it’s the Sengoku era and specifically with Nobunaga Oda. Such is the case once again this year as Fuji TV has announced the the historical manga by Ayumi Ishii Nobunaga Concerto is being adapted into both an anime and a live action series. The manga, which is published in Shonen Sunday, is releasing its tenth volume next week which ties into the announcement. The anime adaptation is slotted for a summer broadcast with a live action adaptation set for October to be followed by a live action film as well. The anime adaptation is directed by Yusuki Fujikawa based on scripts by Natsuko Takahashi but no other details have been announced yet.
