First ‘Karneval’ Anime Dub Clip Debuts

FUNimation has slotted a release date of June 10th, 2014 for the complete thirteen episode series Karneval and after revealing the dub cast and first trailer for it just after Anime Boston this year, they now have the first dub clip for it. The series is getting a bilingual DVD/BD combo release which is getting done as a limited edition box set for $69.98. THe show brings a few English language voice actor commentaries with it as well as the original opening and closing sequences as its extras.

Directed by Christopher Bevins, the series stars Greg Ayres, Sean Michael Teague, Christopher Bevins, Jād Saxton, Ian Sinclair, J. Michael Tatum, Vic Mignogna, David Matranga, Jessica Cavanagh, Aaron Dismuke, Alison Viktorin, Jerry Jewell, Tia Ballard, Brandon Potter, R Bruce Elliott, Jason Liebrecht, Tyson Rinehart and Anastasia Muñoz.

Plot concept: Armed with only an abandoned bracelet as a clue, Nai searches for someone dear to him. After a run in with a pick-pocket named Gareki, the two find themselves involved in a government set-up that leaves them wanted criminals. Desperate and on-the-run, Nai and Gareki turn to the country’s most powerful defense organization – “Circus” – for help.
