Science fiction films continue to be in vogue after Ridley Scott managed to reignite things in the lead-up to Prometheus and with more Star Wars in the future among others, it’s no surprised to see more films of this genre being developed. The latest to move forward is New Babylon, which has brought on Patrick Tatopoulos to direct it. Tatopoulos comes off of the recent Underworld: Rise of the Lycans feature and is set to work with Hydra Entertainment with it.
“We have some very ambitious ideas for the world, characters and story of this movie, and I can already see that the innovative virtual design and story development techniques being employed at Hydra are going to make all the difference in exploring those concepts and putting them on screen in a visually stunning way,” said Tatopoulos.
Plot concept: Set in the Middle East in the near future when a war between angels and demons leads up to the building of a modern day Tower of Babel.
