Len Wiseman has long been a busy man when it comes to directing films as he’s done some fun things over the years, particularly with the Underworld films. He’s been a bit on the quiet side since Total Recall in 2012 didn’t do so well, focusing his energy on the pilot for the Sleepy Hollow TV series to give it the style and direction that worked so well for it. But now he’s circling his next theatrical project, this time for Skydance Productions, as he’s looking to take on the supernatural thriller Black Chapter, which has been written by Zak Penn.
“Len and Zak have created a truly original piece of science fiction that reimagines the spy genre set in the world of the supernatural,” said David Ellison of Skydance Productions. “This is exactly the type of original storytelling that we want to produce and I am thrilled to be in business with both of them.”
Plot concept: An FBI agent is drawn into a classified military program that trains its operatives to use paranormal abilities.
