GBS: And so, we come to the end of…Endings. To be honest, I think I’m more into openings than endings, but there sure was a lot of variation in the final sequences for shows, wasn’t there?

BG: I’m not sure if I can say I like one more than the other. Endings can be more variable, for sure, and maybe I’m more likely to find the average one uninteresting compared to the average opening. Catchy endings may stick to my mind more, though, particularly since there’s more likely to be cute, quirky, or relaxing material that appeals to my tastes.

BT: I thought at one point that I preferred openings more, but maybe due to some special examples for endings in recent seasons, I’m not sure anymore. When I was thinking about this one before hand, I realized I had more endings I really liked and could easily recall than openings. At least for now.

GBS: I’m afraid we’ll have to leave it at that, since the barman has rung the bell and is starting to put towels on taps. So, Brian, what do you have in mind for our next trip around the world of anime?

BT: We may be back to boring old theory again. Theory of anime theory, or something.

GBS: Alrighty then. For Brian Threlkeld and Brandon Graves, I’m Greg Smith thanking you for reading.
