Crunchyroll continues to beef up its digital manga offerings and one of the latest ones to debut hit late last night with Insufficient Direction, a one-shot release that was published in print for in North America by Vertical. The book comes from Moyoco Anno as she delves into the way life works when married to the rather well known Hideaki Anno and what it’s like to be an otaku’s wife. The work, essentially an essay, is a single volume release that’s available worldwide for Crunchyroll manga readers.
Plot concept: Long before Hideaki Anno married Moyoco Anno, he was known as the creator of one of the most popular animated works of all time, Neon Genesis Evangelion. But little was known about the author’s personal life. Along came comic artist Moyoco Anno, then came love, then came marriage and then came a comic about how she changed his life. Hopefully for the better.
