Nisekoi Episode 12 | TFP Review
Buckeye: That was just a funny episode there. I knew that Raku wasn’t going to get any closer to the truth right there, and now the locket lead has gone cold. He has one other option, but talk about a tough break, literally, for Raku. And the part where Raku buys the perverted photo of Kosaki in an attempt to get it deleted that ends up with Kosaki covering herself up and thinking that Raku’s heart is fully with Chitoge was just funny. Oh, and Shu is being quite the pervert there with those photos.
GingaDaiuchuu: Okay, so they all played together. That makes more sense. It seems more likely, considering how little Raku remembers, that he really did just makes promises with both of them, although I suppose only one should fit. I wonder if we really never will find out the truth.
Hitsugi Amachi: I am getting tired of having my chain pulled.
Resolution please? I don’t really care where the story continues afterward, but I really would like to know which one of them is the girl he made the promise with. Just so that can be over with.
maehara: Betting both keys would open the locket (same basic outline for the keys, even if the cut-out in the middle is different).
Hitsugi Amachi: I cringe at the thought…but also suspect you’re right. I noticed the actual key parts of the keys seemed rather similar.
maehara: I’m also betting that the photo in Raku’s storeroom is going to be him with the girl-we’ve-yet-to-meet (who’s shown in shadow in the OP, and clearly in this week’s endcard).
Which is about the most frustrating way for things to play out, tbh. Although I have to say I’m still enjoying the show hugely, even if I do wish they’d get on with it…
Hitsugi Amachi: I was trying to figure out who the fourth girl was in the endcard. It certainly wasn’t Ruri (that would be too conveniently good in its way). So, the question is if the fourth girl is someone we’ve already seen, but in the background, in the classroom, during the school trip, somewhere, sometime but never gave a second thought to.
I hope they give us an answer before the end.
