Strike the Blood Episode 24 (Finale)strike-the-blood-episode-24

EmperorBrandon: Only three months? I think it’s felt a lot longer to us in the audience too, Kojou (at least twice as long).  Well, it was nice to see those two snapped out of their funk rather quickly this episode (would have to be fast, since this is the end), by Sayaka on Koujou’s end, and on Yukina’s end, by her own daughter from the future… The order to go back wasn’t even a really big deal in the end, though. Hehe.

Either way, Reina is the most awesome daughter from the future there ever was… (Chibiusa can’t even compare) Heh, funny how Kojou and Yukina put two and two together, yet still decide to sweep it entirely aside, but I guess that’s just like them. Was wondering if there were going to be melancholic circumstances to what happens in the future, and Reina seems to tease at that. Is it really just a joke on the audience as Moegi’s reaction and Reina’s subsequent expression seems to indicate? Future doesn’t really look bleak, anyway. Speaking of Moegi, just who is her father? Will this get a monogamous or a harem end?

Momoka Kibi: In regards to Moegi, I’m glad they showed her. Once Reina appeared, I felt like it would be wrong if we never got Moegi. Reina & Moegi need to star in their own series. A side series between STB1 & STB2 which better happen. One curious thing about Reina though. Is her reaction to girls just because she’s a vampire? Then again her being a vampire doesn’t mean she has to be attracted to the same sex. This is curious.

Reina is definitely much better than Chibiusa. Then again being better than Chibusa isn’t much of a challenge anyway. Ok, so maybe she got better later in the story, but her entrance was so negative that it left a permanent negative impact on my opinion. Even if it became less negative.

EmperorBrandon: Would be particularly cool if [Reina’s] inherited traits from her daddy included attracting a harem of girls. I think it would be quite awesome to have a yuri-themed series starring her and Moegi.

Nork22: Well if it’s any consideration, Akatsuki seems to have a male harem as well, what with Vatler and his entourage of male and female servants. Vampires don’t discriminate.
