While the light novels inspired an anime series, it also got a manga series going for Asobi ni Ikuyo!, which has been running since 2006. The anime adaptation was brought out in North America by FUNimation and now we’re seeing the release of the manga adaptation on eManga.com, starting on April 4th, 2014. The first volume of the series brings the adventures of Cat Planet Cuties to life in a different way as it works off of Okina Kamino’s light novels with artwork by 888. The series is being titled Let’s Go Play! in its release here through the Digital Manga Guild. The series is still going on in Japan and there’s been nine volumes released to date.

Plot concept: Kio’s an ordinary high school student living in Okinawa. One day, he meets a cat-eared alien named Eris who claims to have come to Earth for an investigation. For whatever reason, Eris has decided to live with Kio and not only is she a freeloader, she seems to have brought a lot of troubles along as well… after much anticipation, this popular love comedy has finally been adapted into a manga!
