2 min read

With the release of the show this week on DVD/BD combo format as well as a premium format, more folks are now getting their exposure to Psycho-Pass. I didn’t see it during its simulcast run and just got in the set today, so it’s definitely high on our to-watch list in the coming week and clips like this definitely helps. The series, released on March 11th, 2014, is in two parts as well as a premium edition with both halves and a lot more. The new clip we have for the show gives us three minutes of material as we get a bit of a look at th eway the job works for the lead characters involved.

The extras for premium set includes:

  • Exclusive Limited Edition Chipboard Art Box
  • Two PSYCHO-PASS Soundtrack CDs
  • Criminal Investigation Division Logo Decal
  • Criminal Investigation Division ID Holder
  • Criminal Investigation Division Business Card Case and Keychain
  • Actor Commentaries
  • PSYCHO-PASS at Sakura-Con Parts 1 & 2
  • Textless Songs

Plot concept: Welcome to a world where just thinking about a crime is enough to make you guilty. Bad intentions can no longer be hidden, and the police know exactly which tainted minds are about to cross over to the wrong side of the law. The great equalizer in the war on thugs is the Dominator, a futuristic weapon that can read minds and assess the risk that a citizen will turn criminal. Cops work in teams made up of Enforcers and Inspectors. Enforcers take out the bad guys, Inspectors stop their partners from going rogue, and the all-powerful Sibyl System keeps a watchful eye on us all. Society is paralyzed by its deepest, darkest desires, and trial by jury has been replaced by the wrath of the Dominator. Welcome to the future. How guilty are you?
