Shochiku has done a pretty good job of doing the marketing for Amazing Twins with the first volume done and out and the second one now set for a June 25th, 2014 release date. With a little mor eroom between releases, they’ve got another of the event piece videos with the actors from the show that clocks in at eleven silly minutes where we see what you have to do in order to promote an OVA. Similar to the first one we had, the new piece is a bit of fun fluf for the show that takes place at the Magic Fantasia place that involves bringing in some of the participants of the project for a touch of a magic show. It’s largely silly fluff but it’s fun to see the kinds of promotions they do to get fans excited for a new show, especially one that you have to buy/rent in order to see rather than a straightforward broadcast.
Both volumes are scheduled to run for 6,615 yen each and contain a single episode, as is expected. The first volume released on February 26th with special features included such as interviews and an audio commentary. It’s also getting a first press edition where you can get a box to hold both volumes and a CD soundtrack. The second volume is set for June 25th and will have the same on-disc extras.
Plot Concept: Todoroki Amane is a young girl who is straightforward but also unthinking. She will try her very best in everything and say, “I don’t know how to answer you if you ask me whether this can be done. I just believe it can. If not, then nothing will get started!”. She easily gets stuck in her thinking, but she can also get easily moved at something small and start crying.
