Full Costume Revealed For ‘The Flash’

2 min read

The FlashWhile with most series that are going through the pilot treatment we never see anything about them until they’re picked up, we’re getting a couple of good nods out of The Flash as The CW, Warner Bros. and DC Comics have a lot riding on trying to get a second series on the air as a companion to Arrow. We had a look at the headgear in a close-up last week, which you can see to the right, and now The CW has let loose with a big image below that shows off the costume in full. This is definitely different from the previous costume worn by John Wesley-Shipp back in the 90’s and it definitely works for Grant Gustin’s frame and the slender speedster approach that could work well. The costume has some good design ideas behind it as it comes from Academy Award-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, who also did the design work on Arrow that we’ve seen evolve over the two seasons.

Series concept: Through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive, in THE FLASH.
