While dates and details are to be forthcoming, Madman Entertainment has made the announcement that they’ve picked up the rights to the Robotics; Notes series. The show, released in North America by FUNimation in bilingual and dual format form, will be getting additional digital distribution in the region in the near future and home video release will be coming as well.
Plot concept: From the creators of Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head. Akiho and Kaito are the only two members of Central Tanegashima High’s Robot Club – but maybe not for long. The powers that be are threatening to shut the organization down. If Akiho and Kaito want the club to survive, they’ll need to win the upcoming hobby robot competition in Tokyo. With everything on the line, Akiho and Kaito devise an awesomely bold plan: build a giant fighting robot!
