Harold Sakuishi is known by many mostly for his work with Beck, a thirty-four volume manga series that ran from 2000 to 2008 in Shounen Magazine Monthly. Sakuishi has a few other works under his belt though and that most recent one is the 2012 series Rin, which is in the same magazine and is set to release its fifth compiled volume this month on the 17th. Ahead of that, Kodansha has put together a great little fast paced video showing Sakuishi putting pen to paper and doing up one of his characters so folks can see his style.

With this being five volumes and coming from Kodansha and having some name recognition, it may be on Kodansha USA’s radar as well.

Plot concept: Fushimi is a high-school student who also aspires to be a mangaka. Rin is a model who appears to be able to see the future. What will happen in the future?
