With the release of a new full length trailer earlier this week, the promotional push for the new Godzilla film has started underway in earnest. And to help that, a few new behind the scenes images have been formally released through Entertainment Weekly that does what it can to draw more on Bryan Cranston’s appeal in a post-Breaking Bad world. We’ve got some decent stuff with director Gareth Edwards there going through the production, but the piece that will be appealing to fans of the titular character is that a size comparison chart has been revealed, which gives us a simple look at his designs over the years and their relative height to each other, which makes this guy the biggest yet, especially with the connection to the 1954 event.
It’s set to debut on May 16th, 2014 in the US.
Plot concept: An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
