While I can certainly see the cynical side of this from many fans and the whole corporate synergy thing with ABC and Marvel being owned by Disney, there’s also the kid inside me that thinks this could be a whole lot of fun and is reminiscent of some of the Star Wars TV specials we got back in the day about the films as they were coming out. ABC is set to bring out an hour long piece on March 18th called Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe that will showcase what the studio has done – which is revolutionary – and expand from there with looks at the two upcoming features this year and a tease for Avengers: Age of Ultron, which may involve some concept art, some casting bits and possibly some behind the scenes footage from the shoot in South Korea.
