Part of some of the home video releases in the early 1990’s, the official Star Wars YouTube channel has added the first part of the interview that Leonard Maltin did with George Lucas after the completion and some space from the first trilogy of films. The piece goes into some decent questions as Lucas looked back, pre-prequels, with what he was involved with, what it meant to him and how he approached a lot of it. It clocks in at almost seven minutes so it’s more than just a blurb or two and reveals a bit more that many diehard fans know, but is still an interesting watch for fans in general.
