Aniplex USA is following through on how they’re releasing the Madoka Magica films as they’ve now set the third film for release on Blu-ray as part of an import release that will come in both regular and collector’s edition form. The releases are set to come out on April 8th, 2014 priced at $118.98 for the collector’s edition and $68.98 for the regular edition. The import release has the same on-disc extras with the theatrical trailer, commercials and textless opening as well as an audio commentary. Bonus extras for the collector’s edition Blu-ray include exclusive new cover art on both the Rigid Box and Digipak, a deluxe booklet and an original soundtrack CD.
Customers who purchase the Collector’s Edition through Aniplex of America’s official retailers will receive a translation booklet for the deluxe booklet. In addition, for those who purchase the Collector’s Edition through MadokaMagicaUSA.com, Aniplex of America will also include 3 exclusive clear files featuring the theatrical poster images while supplies last.
