One event that I had missed last year involved a bit of fun with LEGO and Star Wars to celebrate the deal between the two that began back in 1999 with the first LEGO Star Wars releases. That celebration involved bringing a life-sized X-Wing fighter made of LEGOS to New York City at Times Square to show it off and build massive awareness for it amongst fans of both sides. The project, which is done in a four minute video below, is impressive. It brought together over five million bricks that weights close to 46,000 pounds. It’s eleven feel tall and the wingspan is thirty-two feet. It’s impressive all around.
