LEGO is certainly not worried about looking under every rock to find more money to eke out of Star Wars fans when it comes to their products, but part of me is totally fine with that after checking out the two minute promotional video for their new Star Wars Microfighters release. The series, which list for about $15 each on the official LEGO site, takes familiar vehicles and puts them together in small form of under a hundred pieces. And sets it so that the minifigs can basically ride in them, which is why the promo video uses the pod race from the first prequel film to sell them. And sell them wonderfully, it does, with the kind of voiceless humor that we’ve come to expect from the LEGO videogames early on.
