Crunchyroll is simulcasting Super Sonico The Animation in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Latin America, Spain, Portugal, the Middle East, Turkey, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, France, and DOM-TOM, Andorra, Netherlands, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco in the mix., which you can find here, and now ahead of the thirdepisode we’ve got a few new images revealed that shows off the characters a bit more. The production comes from White Fox and is directed by Kenichi Kawamura as his first directorial debut. The character comes from Nitroplus where she’s a mascot who “is a guitarist, gravure idol, model and singer balancing life as a college student and starring as front woman, singer and guitarist of Top Cosmic Velocity. She loves bathing, playing with cats, and gaming.”

Plot concept: An original anime based on gaming company Nitroplus’ popular mascot, Sonico, Soni-Ani SUPER SONICO THE ANIMATION features the titular character in a comedic slice-of-life series. Sonico’s backstory has her as a college student who somehow also manages to juggle being a model, game character, and a musician in a three-piece girl band as the vocalist and guitarist.
