Witch Craft Works is hitting with this season and getting some attention but it’s also now getting its home video release detailed from Bandai Visual in Japan. The show is going to bring out six volumes on Blu-ray only starting on March 26th, 2014. The releases are going to be priced at 7,350 yen each. The initial listing of what to expect has come out as well for the first volume, with a lot of expected to be carried through all of them, in that we get a bonus short on disc along with the clean opening and closing sequences. The two episodes also appear to have a commentary track track as well by the cast. First press editions will come with a twelve page booklet.

The series, which was announced back in November of 2012, kicked off in 2011 as manga from Ryuu Mizunagi and in good! Afternoon and has a few volumes to its name so far. The anime adaptation is being handled by JC Staff with Tsutomu Mizushima directing and handling script supervision.. He’s partnered up with Michiko Yokote on the scipts while Reiko Yoshida is handling the character designs.

Plot concept: Takamiya Honoka is just an average student who just so happens to sit next to Kagari Ayaka, the “Princess” of the school, and has never said a word to her. However, one day when Takamiya’s life is put in danger, Kagari arrives to his rescue dressed as a witch. It is revealed that Kagari is what is known as a Workshop Witch within the city and Takamiya is under her protection and shall henceforth protect him from any danger that ensues…
