1 min read

Oblivion IslandFUNimation has brought out another of their movies onto Hulu this month with the addition of Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror, a feature they released on DVD and Blu-ray back in 2012. The feature is one that garnered a lot of attention during its original 2009 run as it was produced in commemoration of Fuji Television’s 50th anniversary. The film was nominated for the award for Excellent Animation of the Year at the 33rd Japan Academy Prize. The film was also nominated for the 4th Asia Pacific Screen Award for Best Animated Feature Film. FUNimation previously offered the subtitled version of it through Hulu but has now added the dubbed version of it.

Plot concept: Production I.G’s award-winning feature-length romp will amaze both the young and the young at heart. Join 16-year-old Haruka and her fox spirit friend on a roller coaster ride of adventure as they search the world of lost toys for her very special mirror!
