Manga Entertainment UK has added some new licenses to their end of year program and that means some good things coming up in 2014. The latest one from the UK distributor is Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, known as Hagure Yusha no Estetica in Japan. The twelve episode series will see release in the UK sometime in 2014 but the company does not have any release dates or formats determined for it yet. The show was simulcast in the US by FUNimation who just released it on DVD/BD combo pack this month in bilingual form. The release also brought a few extras with it such as the episode commentaries for episodes 2 and 8, the six bonus episode shorts, promotional videos and the clean opening and closing, all of which should make its way to the UK release based on past trends.

Plot concept: After saving a fairy-tale kingdom, Akatsuki returns to the real world with his prize: Miu, the busty daughter of the defeated Demon King. It’s one hell of a happy ending until they’re forced to enroll at a school for magic users. There, Akatsuki can’t keep his hands off the girls, Miu’s constantly ballooning measurements make her a walking wardrobe malfunction, and it seems like someone is always plotting against them.
