D-Frag!
D-Frag!

While Media Factory has been doing most of the heavy lifting for promoting the winter 2014 series D-Frag!, now TV Tokyo is getting in on it ahead of the January 6th debut. The latest to arrive is a new thirty second TV spot that gives us a sample of the ending song for the series that’s done by three of the characters. The series is part of the push from Media Factory to get more of their works adapted into anime and they’re working with Brains Base for this one. Based on the manga by Tomoya Haruno that began in 2008 in Comic Alive, the series is being directed by Seiki Sugawara, who has worked laregely as an episode director for a few different shows, based on the scripts by Makoto Uezu. Uezeu has a lengthy series of credits behind him including School Days, the initial episodes for Space Brothers and Devil Survivor 2.

Plot concept: Kazama Kenji likes to believe he is something of a delinquent. Moreover, others seem to like to agree that he is. Of course, Kenji’s gang finds their way to a group of four not-so-normal girls – Chitose, Sakura, Minami and Roka – and all at once, whatever reputation he may have, is nothing compared to the outrageous behaviour of the girls. Shanghaied into joining their club, what will happen to his everday life from that point on?

  1. Well, at least it looks interesting. There seem to be more than one male in the group which would definitely makes it different. (Yea, I meant for this comment to be on this page. Sorry about that.)
