Sometimes you just can’t keep a show down as the previous series Tamako Market is getting a theatrical film. The new feature is set for an April 26th, 2014 release ans is being called Tamako Love Story with the tagline of the “love component will be bigger in the movie as the name implies.”
The main team appears to be back with all the voice actors returning for the feature with Naoka Yamada taking up the directorial duties again with a script by Reiko Yoshida. Character designs will once again be handled by Yukiko Horiguchi.
Plot concept: Tamako knows everything about mochi, the traditional Japanese dessert treats. When she’s not attending her first year of high school, she works at Tama-ya, her family’s mochi shop. However, friendships, rivalries, and strange new feelings are beginning to make her life a sticky, complicated mess! There’s guaranteed to be a sweet treat with every adventure when you take a walk through TAMAKO MARKET!
