Crunchyroll is continuing to build up a solid catalog of big titles to draw people to the service beyond just the seasonal aspects by having a lot of material that takes time to go through that will keep you around. The latest one to arrive is that of Rurouni Kenshin, which is getting a big push by being available in both dubbed and subbed formats for fans. The dub uses the materials created by Media Blasters for their previous DVD release of the series. The entire 94 episode run is available right now for premium users of the service while the first four episodes are up for the free users. More material for that segment of the audience will be ready in January.

Rurouni Kenshin is available in the following territories: North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Africa.

Plot concept: Welcome to the Meiji Era. Japan is a land experiencing times of troubled peace and renewal after a long and bloody civil war. Swords and killing are outlawed, but all is not as well as it would seem. Lurking in the shadows are many survivors of the revolution awaiting their chance for vengeance. Only the former government assassin, Kenshin Himura can keep the peace. Kenshin gives up the life of “Battousai The Manslayer” and sets off as a lone wanderer. His travels lead to the Kamiya Dojo where he discovers the chance to start life over.
