The release of the first trailer for the May 16th, 2014 film Godzilla has been pretty well received overall, though people obviously want to see more of what’s going on. The production/marketing side of it has added some new materials today as we have a new theatrical poster for the film, a brief launch message from director Gareth Edwards and a new trailer from Japan showing Toho’s branding in front and what seems to be a very slightly different edit on the trailer, though nothing significant overall.
Plot concept: An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
