It’s taken a bit of time, but the fourth season of Maria Watches Over Us has made its debut digitally as it’s now streaming on both Hulu and YouTube. The distribution again comes from the partnership between Nozomi Entertainment and Manga Entertainment’s parent partner Starz Media which is working to get the shows a wider reach. The series was originally released in 2010 by Nozomi Entertainment and recently made it’s debut in a litebox form which also contained all the eleven episode specials run that added a good bit of fun to the show.
Plot concept: Yumi and the Yamayuri Council have found two new helpers in Kanako and Toko. Unfortunately, their assistance comes with tension, as neither girl is particularly fond of the other and both seem likely candidates to be Yumi’s petite soeur. Will either be a good fit for Yumi? As the school year marches on, the work for the Yamayuri Council piles up, and pressure begins to mount for Yumi to make her final decision.
